Merritt Nall, DPT
Merritt Nall is a native from Louisville, Kentucky. She attended Assumption High School where she ran cross country and track. This led her to develop an interest in the career of physical therapy. Her interest and passion continued to progress when she attended undergraduate school at Western Kentucky University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Her education continued at Bellarmine University, where she graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2023.
While in school, Merritt completed a series of clinical rotations. Her first of which was a sports clinic in Georgia where she focused on using manual therapy techniques to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. She then returned to Louisville where she completed a rotation on the brain injury unit at Frazier Hospital. Lastly, she received experience in the acute care setting in Lexington Kentucky. Her different clinical experiences gave a multidimensional approach and perspective on various ways to improve the function and quality of life of various patient populations. This knowledge, combined with her interest in joint mobilization and soft tissue management, along with positive patient experiences, led her to pursue a career in orthopedic outpatient therapy.
Upon graduation Merritt immediately joined our team as a physical therapist. She had recently worked for us as a therapy technician while in school. She has completed courses regarding dry needling for low back, and lower extremity musculoskeletal conditions. In her free time Merritt enjoys running, spending time with her friends and family, and cheering on the UofL cardinals.
