Dan Eckert, PT, DPT
Dan Eckert, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, is a dedicated physical therapist with a strong educational background and over two decades of experience in the field. After graduating from Trinity High School in 1994, Dan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science from the University of Kentucky in 1998. He then went on to complete the Physical Therapy Program at the University of Louisville, graduating in 2001.
Dan began his career at Ellis and Badenhausen Orthopedics, where he worked for 22 years, gaining invaluable experience in patient care. After a brief nine-month period in medical sales, Dan realized that his true passion lay in direct patient care, which led him back to physical therapy. In May 2024, Dan joined the Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic, where he continues to provide expert care to his patients. He is certified in Kinesio Taping, Graston, and Dry Needling, techniques that enhance his ability to help patients achieve optimal outcomes.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Rebecca, and their two daughters, McKenna and Molly. He also values the time he spends with family and friends, making the most of his free time to strengthen these relationships.
