Instead, we focus on helping our patients manage their discomfort and improve their mobility with nonsurgical therapies, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), custom bracing, physical therapy, and injections. With that said, surgery is still appropriate in certain cases.
