Ty E. Richardson, M.D.

Specializes in orthopaedic sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder.

Dr. Richardson specializes in athletic injuries and traumatic injuries to the knee and shoulder. He is a Texas native who attended undergraduate studies at Baylor University and medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Louisville where he had numerous publications and presentations in orthopaedic trauma.

Dr. Richardson completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia where he was involved in extensive research in the arthroscopic treatment of shoulder injuries and ligament injuries of the knee.

Dr. Richardson is a member of several national orthopaedic and sports medicine organizations. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
