World-Class Sports Medicine From an Esteemed Orthopedic Physician. Many sports injuries don’t require extensive treatment, but some warrant the expertise of a uniquely trained orthopedic physician like Dr. Richardson. If you are an athlete who has sustained an injury or is struggling to manage the effects of a chronic condition like arthritis, Dr. Richardson and our team are here to help.

Dr. Richardson specializes in the treatment of many sports injuries, particularly conditions that impact the shoulder and knee – two of the most complex joints in the body.

“The knee is the most commonly injured joint in the body. One reason for this is its large size and near-constant use, especially among athletes,” says Dr. Richardson. “For this reason, it’s important to take a proactive approach to treatment and promptly seek care if you develop pain.”

From conservative therapies and minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures to traditional surgery, Dr. Richardson leverages advanced methods to help his patients get back in the game as quickly and safely as possible.
